Sometimes
when he went on a date, he'd bring flowers. Sometimes he'd bring a
little gift of some other type. He'd bring, maybe, a mixed CD of songs
he liked.
He'd make the CD at home on his computer when he was thinking about the
date. He'd try to imagine the likes and dislikes of the cave he was
going to date, and try to guess what songs they would like.
(None of the songs, you know, spoke to him. But they spoke to them.)
You know what would happen? He'd bring the CD to the date, and they'd
play it during the date, and the sound would reverberate off the walls
of the cave in a really pleasant way, more often than not.
